Equine-Assisted Learning.  Our big pole barn
is home to a variety of horses:  two miniature
horses, and four Norwegian Fjord horses.  The
horses - along with goats, llamas, ducks,
chickens, and a cow, who also live at
Edenbrook - allow participants to learn the
ropes of animal care and husbandry, while
developing their own farm roles.  The animals,
in their own way, show unconditional love,
acceptance and gentleness.  They are the
heart of the program.

Horticulture & Agriculture.  Growing and
harvesting your own food from the earth is
intensely rewarding, but, sadly, rarely
experienced in our fast-food age.  Using the
farm's flower and vegetable gardens, we teach
students and families how to plant from seed,
care for their plot, and harvest the fruits of their
labor.  Gardening projects also include
canning, freezing and cooking with produce.

Conservation.  Year-round wildlife
conservation projects comprise the third part of
the program.  Activities like woodworking,
cultivating honey, using rain barrels, using
worms to compost, and recycling teach vital
lessons about being good stewards of the
earth God has entrusted to us.
